I love my husband more every time I smell this essence on him, pretty deep intense smell, sexy and mysterious.

Dark and Mysterious scent

This is a very alluring and dark scent from Givenchy, the Gentleman by Givenchy scent is made up of a woodsy scent with a hint of floral. It has notes of bergamot, cardamom, Basil, blue Iris, cypress, cedar wood, and coumarin. It is a mysterious and dark scent perfect for the night time. My boyfriend enjoyed trying out this scent!

Clean and woody everyday scent

I received Givenchy Gentleman Intense cologne sample from Influenster complimentary in exchange for an honest review. This scent has notes of Bergamot, Blue Iris, and Cedar Wood. It smells clean and woody and reminds me Paco Rabanne’s One Million cologne. This is a cologne that could be used everyday and it has overall good lasting power throughout the day. 4/5

A nice woody scent that is not overbearing. A great scent for gentlemen! I can definitely pick up the woody and basil scents in this cologne. It's a subtle scent that gets better the closer you get to it.

Not that Impressed

I was not that impressed with this scent. It was very strong and lingered quite a bit. I was hoping for something light and crisp and was sorely disappointed. It was so strong that I had to take a shower to remove the scent from me. It gave me a headache. I received this for free for an honest review of the product.

This has a nice scent and seemed to last a decent length of time. The smell was a fairly typical masculine scent, couldn't really distinguish any particular notes. It honestly cost more than I would consider paying for cologne for my husband and had we not gotten this sample, isn't something we would have ever really looked at.

Not personally a fan of the scent or colognes in general, but my nose tends to be sensitive to such fragrances. The scent was a little to strong and floral to me. I got this as a free sample to try from influenster.

I received this as a sample to give honest review. And I am buying the full size bottle. I gave it to my husband to try and he loves it. He was grabbing the sample more than his other cologne. I'm a suckered for bergamot. It's sent is not too light and not overpowering. Its perfect.

My husband loved this scent and wears it every day. A little spray goes a long way and it still smells great when he comes home. It has a nice fresh smell without it being overbearing. He'll definitely be buying more since we got a little tester spray.

This product was very fun to test. Overall, I do enjoy the scent. However keep in mind that this is a bit different from the typical colognes I have tested. It has a spicy smell that has notes of floral components too. Overall the combo does work but it's definitely not for everyone.

Outwardly Complemented, Personally Not Feeling It

Honestly it was very hard for me to enjoy this fragrance. My partner loved the smell, but I did not. After I wore it a few times to give it a chance, it was just not for me. I felt the basil notes were very strong and overwhelming for me personally, the type of fragrance that sits at the back of your throat. I did get great compliments on it, but it was hard for me to enjoy.
