Subtle Makeover Remover that Works

Sephora is a new brand to me, but that does not mean it’s sub par. The item itself is a good size and contains some natural ingredients, which is well received. The texture is similar to that of a coconut based product (this does not contain coconut). There is a scent, but it’s very subtle - I’d describe it as ‘cotton fresh’. Effectiveness wise, it removes makeup well without too much effort. I’ve found that a little goes a long way, so that means more money in your pocket. I’m normally prone to random rashes when using new products, however there was no sign of this using the Sephora Skin Cleaning Balm. Lost a star due to the greasy texture left on skin - it could absorb better. Otherwise, lovely product.

Worth it!

What a great cleanser! It is smooth and silky with a milky meltdown. This breaks down all my waterproof makeup. I definitely suggest!

Good product.

This is a great cleansing balm which removed my make up with ease. I've used this now three times so feel I can make a review. Packaging is a lovely compact pot with a nice colour, inside the product itself has a nice texture and applied flawlessly with ease. Unscented so no added perfumes gives peace of mind. All in all, would recommend to others and purchase if the price was right.

Its a very gentle Cleansing balm

As a beauty enthusiast, I love constantly doing different makeup looks, from the most colorful to the most neutral, depending on the occasion or my content creation in general. And I must say from personal experience that very few cleansing balms can melt away makeup without hurting the skin or without having some kind of unpleasant smell, or worse yet, leaving the skin very dry. Now, I have tried this Clean Skin Cleansing Balm with Probiotics and I have been impressed by how gentle it is on the skin, how pleasant the texture feels, and although in my experience it takes a little longer to completely remove waterproof makeup like mascara, eyeliner, or lip products, I prefer this a thousand times over the dryness of other cleansers. So I liked it, I have had a pleasant experience and will definitely continue using it. This review was collected as part of a promotion.

Skin Cleansing Balm

The Sephora Collection Clean Skin Cleansing Balm just made taking off makeup more easier for us beauty enthusiasts! I see myself reaching out for this cleansing balm product for both natural and full-coverage days. The product does feel somewhat small in quantity, but a little of the product does work its magic. I recommend always warming up the balm on your hand before applying it to your dry face with makeup. This just makes sure that the product activates and can work around your whole face. Of-course, after rubbing off your makeup, you rinse with water. This product does not feel greasy after the wash-off like some other balms. Instead, It provides a soft hydrating experience. I’m a huge fan of the removal makeup results, although my only advice is to create a larger quantity because I will go through these very quickly.

Great makeup removing balm

I love this product. Perfect for removing any makeup but took my waterproof concealer off in 1 swipe. I used a tissue the first time, took it off. Used water the 2nd time took it off. My skin felt great too!

Unique texture: didn't sting my eyes

This cleansing balm was one of the creamiest formulas I've tried. Usually balms melt down into an oil thanks to our body heat, and this one felt like it didn't quite melt down fully. It also didn't emulsify quite like other balms I've used once I added water to the formula. It did break down my makeup, including the waterproof lip liner I was wearing. More importantly, I had no issues with this bothering my eyes. There's nothing I get frustrated by more than a cleanser I can't use on my eyes. So this cleaner gets bonus points for being gentle enough to use on my eye area to remove any mascara or eyeshadow I had on, besides breaking down concealer and foundation with ease. I also appreciate that the scent was mild enough for me to handle. I highly recommend this to anyone who is dealing with dry skin/their skin feels tight after washing with a foaming cleanser (since that's an indication your cleanser is drying out your skin). I am removing one star since I definitely felt like I had to use a foaming cleanser after this one since it left my skin feeling oily, even when using water to remove the balm. So I'm giving this four out of five stars.

Really nice

overall, I thought the clean skin cleansing balm was a pretty good make up remover. I wouldn’t recommend it to people who have sensitive skin because I didn’t find it particularly gentle as when I tried it on my lips, It was a bit harsh. I found it to be a bit too strong, and my lips felt a bit tingly and irritated, so it’s definitely not gentle for sensitive parts of the skin Like the lips. However, it removed makeup from the rest of my face pretty well without any type of reactions. I like that the consistency was a lot softer than other cleansing balms that I had tried in the past. It feels very gentle and very soft to put over the skin when I am massaging it into my face so it feels really good. There was no noticeable sent as well which I really appreciated.

Son prix reste correct pour la quantité du produit, pas besoin d'en utiliser beaucoup et c'est facile à rincer avec de l'eau.

I appreciate the packaging on this product. Not fussy, bright, to the point. The product itself is emollient and looks very similar to petroleum jelly. There's a pleasant smell, nothing overpowering or heavily fragranced. Just clean, light and refreshing. It does remove makeup rather effectively. You don't even really need water to "activate" it, the product warms up rather nicely on its own. It doesn't take much to remove a full face and lashes and I found it was much more effective when using a beauty towel to wipe off the product. I really liked it and felt it was a great first step for a double cleanse. Unfortunately, this product isn't too friendly for us acne prone girlies. Every time I used it, I woke up with a new pimple. I'm sad to say this won't be in the everyday routine, but I would still recommend it if you’re someone who doesn’t have sensitive skin.
